Custom Orthotics

About Orthotics

Custom orthotics are specialized shoe inserts designed to provide personalized support and alignment for an individual’s feet.

Our orthotics are hand-made from a 3-D cast of the feet.  Materials are selected and may range from soft foam to rigid plastic, depending on the patient’s feet, footwear, and activities.  Individual features (such as metatarsal pads and heel lifts) are also designed specifically for each patient.

This is a true custom-made medical device.

Orthotics can help with:

Plantar Fasciitis

Custom orthotics can provide support and reduce strain on the plantar fascia, the ligament connecting the heel to the toes, helping alleviate pain associated with plantar fasciitis.

Flat Feet/High Arches

For individuals with low or collapsed arches, custom orthotics can help provide arch support and improve foot alignment.

Custom orthotics can be designed to cushion and distribute pressure for those with high arches, promoting better weight distribution and reducing the risk of foot problems.

Knee Pain
If your feet are falling inward or outwards, this abnormal alignment causes a chain reaction up into your knee joint. Orthotics can correct this alignment.
Low Back Pain

A well made custom orthotic cradles the foot and can bring relief from discomfort and pain caused by lower back pain, sciatica, poor posture or an unbalanced gait.

Foot and Ankle Pain

Conditions such as metatarsalgia, bunions, and arthritis can benefit from the support and cushioning provided by custom orthotics, helping to reduce pain and discomfort.

Diabetic Foot Conditions

Custom orthotics can be designed to provide cushioning and support for individuals with diabetes, helping to prevent foot ulcers and other complications.
