DC, MS (Sports Medicine)
Chiropractor
Breanna grew up in Toronto where she played both hockey and soccer competitively. It was during this time, after sustaining a set of injuries herself, that she realized her passion for helping people recover from their injuries and perform at their best.
She completed her Doctorate of Chiropractic from the University of Western States in Portland, OR after receiving an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology and Psychology from University of Toronto. She also completed her Masters of Science in Sports Medicine from the University of Western States during her time there.
Breanna treats all conditions of the spine and extremities though she has a special interest in treating sport-related injuries, headaches, the adolescent population, and optimizing performance. She is a certified Complete Concussion Management (CCMI) practitioner.
Her treatment style combines chiropractic adjustments, soft-tissue therapy (massage, cupping, IASTM), modalities (laser, ultrasound), and rehabilitation exercises to get you back to doing what you love, whatever that may be. She values educating her patients on their conditions and treating the root cause of a problem, not just the symptoms.
Outside of the office, Dr. Breanna works with the Markham Royals Jr A hockey team in the OJHL as their trainer and head therapist. In her free time you can catch her at the rink playing hockey, at the field playing soccer, spending time with family and friends, or catching up on a show.
