Nejin Chacko P.T.

Nejin Chacko has been practicing for 19 years and is a therapist with excellent experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and in sports medicine. He received his bachelor degree in physiotherapy in 1998 and has completed extensive continuing education in orthopedics, manual therapy, exercise, and acupuncture. He has completed his Masters in Advanced Orthopaedic Manipulative Physiotherapy from McMaster University, Hamilton in 2017. He also holds a Masters in Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise (2003) from the University of Glasgow and University of Strathclyde, UK. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) and a member of Orthopaedic Division of Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

Nejin has extensive experience in private practice treating various musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, chronic pain, workplace injuries, and motor vehicle accident injuries. He has experience working with sports organizations providing consultation and on-field coverage for various local and international sports competitions. He uses a variety of treatment approaches including joint mobilization and manipulation, soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release, neural mobilization, acupuncture, individualized exercises, and patient education. Nejin believes that a successful treatment must result in the achievement of an optimal function that is meaningful to the patient. He ensures patient-centered care and values patient education and interactive clinical decision making.

Nejin is also a certified Complete Concussion Management Inc. (CCMI) practitioner.

Besides his clinical work, Nejin is an Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) in the School of Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University, Hamilton where he tutors in the graduate physiotherapy program.

Thursday – 8:15-145pm

Friday- 8:15-1:45pm
