The objective is to fit the proper orthopeadic brace to the patient’s medical condition, taking into account the severity of the injury, when the product is to be worn, and what it is to be worn for.

Annette also assesses, casts and fits for Custom Foot Orthotics. When fitting for an orthotic, Annette analyses the patient’s foot type, activities, footwear, gait, and then determines if a product is going to be functional in helping in the patient’s course of treatment. Combining all of the above information, then helps Annette determine what type of materials the orthosis should be manufactured from and what footwear is appropriate. The Orhotics are manufactured locally in Markham, ON.

Annette’s interests lie in educating the patient about their injury, treatment options as well as fitting them with the most functional products.
