Jason Liang was always a part of a sports team growing up and could never sit still when it came to athletics and fitness. With this love, he pursued a career in health. Jason went to the University of Toronto to receive his Bachelor of Kinesiology with Honours, and in his latter years of the program he became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). To complement his knowledge of exercise by improving his manual therapy skills, Jason completed a Diploma of Massage Therapy from the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
Formerly a CSCS, Jason believes anyone can live an active lifestyle and is driven to help others reach their personal health goals. Jason wanted to accomplish this through exercise education and manual therapy during his treatments. Working as an RMT in multidisciplinary private practices gave him the valuable experience and opportunities to do so. However, he wasn’t done just there. To further enhance his knowledge and skill-set, he then flew across the world to the land down under and studied a Masters of Physiotherapy degree at the University of Sydney. Jason is currently a Physiotherapy Resident in Ontario.
Jason’s interests include music, travelling, basketball, and multiple other sports. Volleyball is his sports passion. He continues to play regularly, but also helps coach 16U boys in Markham as part of the OVA. Jason spends his free time at the gym improving his strength and athletic performance.
Practicing as an RMT and PT resident with the Apple Creek Sports Medicine team and on a path of constant learning, Jason wants to be involved in your rehabilitation process to help guide you toward your goal whether it be sport, work or hobby related.
