Apple Creek Sports Medicine Centre is proud to announce that Stefanie Moser and John Sage were selected to be part of the medical team at the 2011 Canada Winter Games in Halifax, N.S. John was chosen to be an Athletic therapist for the boys and girls Ontario Provincial Hockey teams while Stefanie was an Athletic Therapist for a wide variety of sporting events.

Congratulations to Shannon W, one of Apple Creek’s RMTs, for completing the Toronto Goodlife Half Marathon in a time of 2 hours and 12 minutes!

 

Congratulations to Stef and Erin who defeated the USA, 5-4, to win the 2010 U18 World Women’s Hockey Championships! Erin is on the U18 Women’s National Team again this year and recently competed at the 2011 U18 IIHF World Championships in Sweden. This year, Stef is the Athletic Therapist with the Canadian Women’s National Team.

Congratulations to Ron A for battling back from a total shoulder replacement to return to top form and win the MVP title in the Unionville Men’s Hockey League for 2009.

Ron never gave up; He followed his rehabilitation program diligently and was happy to return to the ice with the fella’s for a season filled with hard work, determination and lots of fun!
